When I worked at Rio vista Army Depot on the river rebuilding water craft and amphibious craft for the Army every once in a while the Navy would bring there Hover craft up from the bay and make runs up and down the river right in front of us. These were test vehicles and had to deck to carry anything just a cabin for passenger and big about 80 ft. long. they would do 80 knots at top speed and the noise was something else. Walt
