This may not be your problem at all. Have a friend that had the same truck and suddenly had the same problems. Took it back to Ford on many occasions and they couldn't find anything. The day he sold the truck a mechanic showed him what was wrong with it. He had installed a aftermarket bug shield on it and with the hood down and at high demand for air it was not allowing good air flow to the engine. At the dealership they would lift the hood and put it on a machine and it would perform just fine. Just a thought. Paul
