Don't want to start a tire war, but what tires do you have on that hard pulling trailer? There was a welder here who used to pull loads of steel out of Texas. He couldn't stop talking about when he changed tires and got some thing like 4 or 5 miles more. If I remember right he went to Michlan steel belt radials. Might have been those 10 ply and lots of pressure. Personally, I think you were doing OK--we have to pay for we want. Kenny
