Checking out the semi tractor before hauling some corn next week and have some questions. I'm very familar with the manual slacks. This truck has the automatic ones. My question is to adjust the brakes manualy do you unscrew the pawl or use a screwdriver to pull it out. I assume you leave the pawl out why u manualy adjust the brakes tight to the drum and back off a half a turn. Or once the shoe has hit the drum can u release the pawl and back it off a half a turn. Any help would be great.
