That old Ford isn't going to give you any problems. Heck it will even pull that trailer without wheels or even if the trailer axles fall off. Just a note however, the faster you go the quicker you get there and back. Did you remember to pack some radiator stop leak?
I remember pulling a speedboat with a Lincoln to northern Michigan and decided to pull off the highway to get some gas. When I got out of the car at the gas station I noticed that the trailer was sitting all catawallered. Evidently I had been driving without a tire for several miles and the wheel was all worn down. I never even noticed anything wrong.
Just keep the pedal to the metal and don't look back.
