After I built my shop, my wife banished the house cats to the shop. She figured I wouldn't care about the occasional hairball puked out on my shop floor or workbench. Anyway, the shop and garage are both unheated, dog sleeps in the garage and the cats sleep in the shop. I bought a couple of the heated mats, but dog refused to use hers. So the cats have them both. The cats LUV the mats and stay glued to them all winter long. The mats are regulated to about 100 degrees F.
