I had Ferrell-gas also and I got rid of them a year ago. I was getting tired of them billing me with some kind tax for the delivery of gas or rising their prices every time they wanted too.
And yes they were always billing me for tank rental too in the amount of $36.00. I never had to pay tank rental before. It was in their contract if you use so many gallons in one year’s time the rental was free.

After switching companies I called them number of times to get their tank out of my yard. I placed one more call and told the lady if they didn’t get their tank within a week that I was going to charge them tank rental. I was amazed they pick it up the next day.
I was to be reimburse for the amount left in the tank but never did heard from them again.
Anyways I’m not sure what there problem was but switching was the best thing I done. It was a huge savings for me - 0.80 cents a gallon cheaper with no tank rental and much better service!!!!….
Ferrell-gas tank had a broken fitting at the shut off valve the other company person showed it to me and said you have been leaking gas long period time now. I guess that explains why I always had problems with wasps every summer?
I know in my area everyone that had Ferrell gas has switch to someone else so if that tells you something there. (P.S. I’m glad I switched!) Mike

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point ... [Read Article]
