Long450 4wd..what is it?

Looked at a basket case Long 450 4WD today. Owner had an OLIVER hydraulic setup for it and mentioned it was the same as a Fiat Allis from the clutch back. It does look real similar to an Oliver 4wD I remember a neighbor used to have. While I do realize Long is a four letter word to many, The prospect of having diesel AND All wheel drive is kinda attractive. Any thoughts? ANd what exactly is it? An Oliver clone, An Italian beast, or a collection of scrap parts? Thanks!
