I have a 2610 and is pretty close to the same as a 610. Long tractors are known for diesel slobber if they're not loaded well. When splitting wood or feeding cattle mine smokes and it also gets a buildup in the exhaust pipe and muffler. When hay time comes and running the round baler or pulling a V-tank spreader for the first hard load of the year, I've seen sparks and even flames come out the exhaust in the first 20 min. or so. After that the exhaust pipe gets a smooth look. I've seen fields that caught fire from Longs turning soil with a bottom plow. So if you see slobber start to run down the outside of the exhaust be careful when you work it hard and make sure you don't start fires behind you if it's dry.
Put that tractor to work and it'll still smoke some but it'll clean the pipe out too. Lucas fuel additive works wonders on a Longs exhaust also.
