Last one I had totalled (fire) this is what the ins company did. First they paid the service mgr from the local Case IH dealer to come out and estimate repair cost. It was going to be high as there was no way of knowing what damage was done inside the engine or transmission. Estimated repairs were 36,000. I had 12,500 insurance on the tractor so that was the assumed value. Then they had me get 3 for sale ads showing the same tractor. All 3 had a lower sale price than mine was insured for but I could list specifics as to why mine was more valuable.
Ins company paid me the 12,500. Then they sold the tractor on sealed bids at my place. Guy bought it for 1800 and uses it as a stationary irrigation pump power source.
As to value, Id guess yours 3500-4500 here. Glad you are ok.
