This might be one of those situations with no perfect solution. When at shows I absolutely hate dodging the dozens of golf carts driven by people who 99% of the time just need to get off their fat *sses and walk. Look at how many shows and events ban any sort of atv,golf cart etc. There is the 1% of cases where a golf cart is legit and we have all seen and agree with their usage. There are numerous versions of those small electric car/vehicles/wheel chairs that are not as threatening and dangerous in crowds. Some appear robust and equipped with decent tires. Will your wife recover usage of her ankle? With my broken leg this year I just used crutches.
