Just like Crazyhorse said, they are throwaway engines. Valve keepers are very chintzy and allows the engine to digest the valve. The valve guides are very soft and wear rapidly. I do some engine repair work for my Amish neighbors who have bought these engines and even minor repairs are a major downtime for parts. I can get the parts for their Honda engines at the local dealer. These engines are alright if you only require a low run time or using under light load. They definitely are not an engine to rely on to run 8 hours every day doing a critical job... Gene
