I grew up on an Allis B, and it's sitting in my barn now. We also had John Deere, and the rest of the family and neighbors had Farmalls. In my youth you were expected to run whatever anyone had when you were helping out, so I ran them all. I have no real preferences, but you can't beat the sound of an old two-cylinder John Deere under a heavy load on a dark night. Fire about 18" high from a straight pipe.
