Stop what you're doing or you could have real expensive repairs. The first thing you need to do is find out if your tractor has open or closed center hydraulics. I thought JD used a lot of closed center systems but don't know about your specific tractor. Each type of system has to have the proper type of control valve to run it. Some valves can be easily converted from one to the other. Some can't be. You need to talk to the JD dealer to find out what type of system you have and you need to talk with an experienced hydraulic shop to find out what type of valves the hoe has and most inmportantly, how to hook everything up properly. I am sure JD hydraulic pumps don't come cheap. Especially if they are for a closed center system. If you just have a disc or something with only a cylinder that runs off the remote couplers it doesn't matter what type of system. Any time you hook up another valve to control the cylinders, all the components have to be set up the same. You can't mix and match open and closed center pumps and valves. The whole system has to be compatable. Hopefully you'll get this before you try to run your tractor. Wouldn't want to see you have spend a big chunk of cash for repairs right after Christmas. Dave
