I completely agree, but unfortunately, your typical sports fan is way too stupid to see the problem, or admit that there is anything wrong with this. The sports franchises should be made to pay their own way, for each and every cent of the cost it costs to maintain them. The mind-numbed robots that have nothing better to do than fantacize about their 'heroes' are nothing but losers, too inept to do anything useful with their lives. Interestingly, most any baseball player is head and shoulders above the average, bred-for-purpose, semi-literate, criminal football or basket ball player. I doubt if any football player or coach can say more than 2 consectutive words without a DUH, or You Know being thrown in.
