People; I have purchased a MM M 670 Super from Marian, S.D. and am having trouble determining the year it was manufactured. The ser.# on the rear casting tag is 30000201, that makes the rear end for a '65 M670 Deisel. the engine tag is 336-4 16907606. The 169 put this as a 336-4 engine for a M5 tractor, gasoline or propane. This engine has M5 carb and ignition parts, and in no way has the 70 pto hp of an M670 gas. This tractor also has louvers cut into the panels on sides of the gas tank. It has chrome throttle and TA levers. The rear wheel center castings are painted yellow on the outside and brown on the inside. Also the fender support braces are brown on the right and yellow on the left. The tractor parts don't appear to have been repainted. When looking for parts it's hard to order the right ones from the books without having old parts in hand. I would appreciate any info on this tractor.
