Yeah, if those people ever do figure out how to farm all that land right, us American farmers are in trouble. They would not have to buy any corn or wheat from us. They will be exporting it. Then instead of $2.00 a bushel for wheat, we probably would be lucky to get 50 cents. Knowing how stupid our government is we will probably send them money, equipment, and agricultural experts to help them figure it out. Just look at South America, back in the 60s the US government taught them how to grow soybeans so they could feed themselves, now they are chopping down the rainforests to grow more beans for export and running us out of business. Course Nixon and Carter helped them out with the grain embargoes. Sorry state of affairs if you ask me. I remember when soybeans were at $12.00 a bushel. Doubt I will ever farm or live long enough to see that again.
