Yup,we had a rat problem one time. They would be floating in the water pails in the calf pens almost daily. Seems like I read one time about somebody that made something along that line where they used a small board with bait on the end over the water. The mouse or rat would go out after it,the board tipped down,rodent fell in the water and the board tipped back up.

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
