The process is quite straight forward and is done daily by equipment dealers and jockies. Have all the paperwork required(get a customs broker to handle this) and the machine will have to be thoroughly washed as it will not be allowed entry if it has soil,crop debris or other organic material on it. New rules require that U.S, customs requires a mininum of 2 hrs notice before arriving at port of entry(again, your customs broker can guide you through the process).The easiest way is to arrange shipment through one of the equipment jockies who do this on a daily basis.
