Early tractor pulls with picture

This is in responce to a question asked last week about early tractor pulls. This picture was taken in 1973. This was the first time that i ever tried to pull a tractor. Note how im sitting on the seat, today at 6'6" i have a hard time not hitting my head on the roof. :)The object was to start pulling the sled and as the sled went down the track people stepped on, and if that was not enough weight they would add a tractor to the sled. Anyway it was alot of fun back then, thats for sure.
