I get away with running #2 diesel down to 20� or even 10� overnight if i wait til it warms up a little. Just plug it in for a while if you have a block heater on it. I have a Leyland that will start right up at 30� without being heated but my other diesels have to be warmed up at anything below 40� If you think it is "very cold" at 30� I doubt you need blended "winter" fuel which will be 40% or so #1 diesel. If you are worried dump in a quart or 2 of kerosene. That's mostly whats in the anti-gell stuff.
