What model Ford tractor? An N series? These really work much better with a 3pt type of plow.
Tailer plows have a hitch like a wagon & are on wheels. Work fine, but a Ford is built light & runs out of traction sometimes with this type.
Allis Chalmers had a special hitching system, not compatable with 3pt. IHC also had a 2pt hitching system, different than a 3pt. Case had an Eagle hitch which was close, but a little different, than a 3pt.
A 1 bottom plow could even be a garden type, forget what that is called now?
Then there were the little walk-behind tractors - look like a tiller, they had plow attachments.
