Doesn't work that way. That type of plow has a "hook" type hitch on the tongue which goes into a clevis, or "ring" which is pinned to the drawbar. The plow hitch is spring-loaded, which allows the plow to unhook from the tractor when the plow hits a rock. That's a big nuisance in a rocky field, but better than tearing up the plow, as trip-back beams were a later development. The clevis and pin stayed in the drawbar, but the plow unhitched itself when the tractor went through the dip.
