We had the granddaddy of all ice storms up here in 1998. Ice Storm '98. 22 degrees and pouring down rain for five days straight. Five (5) inches of radial ice accumulation. Power out for one to six weeks. They had to replace 20,000 phone poles. And we have the tenth anniversary coming up. As long as you don't get anything like that. Ice storms are the worst that winter has to give.
