Cockshutt 50 help?

We have a gas Cockshutt 50 that still uses the 6 volt pos ground electrical system. I would like to be able to start and use the thing in the winter. How do I convert it over to 12 V without modifying anything so I still have the original tractor. I intend to keep all original parts so it can be restored as soon as we retire it from farming. It still serves a purpose around our farm (fertilizer wagon, utility tractor, etc.). Please include as much detail as you can or email me if you want. Part numbers and such would be great for alternator, coil, plugs da da da... Thanks a bunch in advance.
