Greg, I think your point is absolutely right. There is a difference due to the roll
center and I had ignored this in my response farther on down the list. I think that
you would agree that, though, this is a difference and real, it is not a major
difference. This might reduce the tendency by some percentage points. The point that
I wish to make is that there is little difference between the two and that users should
take no comfort in having a wide front end. Safety should always be forefront on a users
mind when driving tractors. Tractors can be extremely dangerous in an unexperienced or
reckless user, narrow or wide front.

I belive that the wide front has some advantages in special cases such as having the
front on level ground and driving the rear over an obstruction. In this case, the wide
front will be considerably better than a narrow front.
