Prices here vary all over the map. Dad bought a good used quarter miler for $1100 at auction from an area that was running out of water a while back. He and my brother then moved it about 90 miles to get it down here, but it turned out fine.
A friend of mine gave $500 for one from a big farmer who just wanted to replace it with a new one.
I sold two older quarter mile Zimmatics for $9000 apiece and a 1994 model for $14000.
I know the new ones have gone up drastically in prices now with steel increases, but that has been tempered with lowering water tables and people abandoning irrigation in places around here.
