Chain types- depends on your uses - for field use in snow and soft ground double ring chains are good but wear fast and ride rough on the road.Hiway style chains dont wear or ride as bad but dont add as much traction as double ring or skidder style chains. Not sure what you are going to use the blade for?? Snow? As mentioned box blade is good as it will carry whatever you are pulling but in snow eventually it will build up too much. My box blade has 2 cuting edges so it can be used in forward or reverse with out turning it. I use it to plow snow both ways - handy to go places my truck cant fit , also works good to push backwards. For larger/ longer areas, as mentioned ,a regular back blade can be angled which would make for faster snow plowing .
