I had one quite familiar to that. I caught an outlaw neighbor/farmer on my land several years ago. He said he had permission from my greatgrandfathers to hunt.
I told him my greatgrandfather died 40 yrs previous and if he wanted permission to hunt that day he would need a current notorized permission slip from him.
I later asked my grandfather about it and he said my dad would have never given permission to that sob.
