The thing is oil a supplements , have gotten a bad rap in most cases . When they are used for they are designed to do like leave a slick oil flim on rod ,main, cam bearings and cam lobbes ,and other moving parts from dry starts. As for the oil companies they are not going to put no than they have too. If someone thinks you can get an engine overhaul from a can or bottle thats where the good supplements.
