I had an old narrow front JD "G" with a farmhand F-11 loader on it. I had an old pickup with out a rear end in it that I was moving out of the way. I had to go around a corner that was on a side hill, and was pulling it in reverse with the loader and a LONG chain. As I was going around the corner, the left rear wheel came off of the ground about 2 feet. Instinct told me to pull the clutch lever, but all that did was stop the wheel. I quickly dropped the bucket to let off the tension, and was able to save myself, and the tractor. Shortly afterward, I got rid of the tractor. Out of the three tractors that I now have, only one has a narrow front, and it is going to be restored for show only. No more narrow fronts for me.
