I kill'em all the time, got to be a den somewhere near by. In the spring when they crawl out of their den and start moving is when I kill the most. Thru the hot summer after they scatter out I don't see many here at the house, maybe two or three. I got lots of pictures of dead rattlesnakes if the law ever needs evidence to hang me here in Texas. I'll shoot every one I see, and I'll even go out of my way to do it. If I see one crawling in the on coming lane better not be anybody coming cause its mine. THE ONLY GOOD RATTLESNAKE IS A DEAD RATTLESNAKE.
