There were a lot of small farmers around here who farmed 20 acres with an 8N. Many had got a older used 8N and sold the horses. If you are only doing 5 acres stick with the 8N, or if you want something better get a Feguson TO30. Looks like an 8N but built much better all around and easier to work on and more power. you will spend much less on one of those even if you rebuild it front to back. Just my oppinion, but parts for the new ones are totally rediculas.
