heres a thought back at ya, but it may get kinda ugly in the fabrication. dont know if it will work either. buuttt, if you have a 3 point digger, make a bracket to hook it to the bucket mount, use a hydraulic motor, hook it to a gear reduction box and run it that way. you are probably only using and 8-10 inch auger, and the hand held power augers dont need that much hp. that way when your done you got your 3 pont auger back. maybe grab a reduction box off an old grain auger.
