Baker fans were something the Baker steam Works came up with in the early 1900s or before to work and break in their steam engines. The fan did not do anything but make the engine work. It did not measure HPor anything else. The neat thing about them is that a small engine can turn them and a large engine can not turn them much faster. The fan just pumps more air but makes any engine work at their max HP. you can belt an H JD or a 30-60 Rumely Oil Pull to one and they both will work hard, but not kill either one.
