Truck, I am going through the same decision process as you right now. Looking at a 10 high 30 x 40. All metal buildings are about 1/3 higher than pole buildings in this size. For pole buildings I am getting quotes in the $9,500 to $10,000 range and around $14,000 for an all steel building. Quoted 8 x 10 overhead door, walk door, insulation, and gutters. No electric wiring or plumbing. Have also looked at a hybred metal truss system (http://www.adamstruss.com) with wood perlins. About $6,500 for the package and a contracted slab. Lots of options. I have been building a house for the last six months. May go with a turn key pole building. Up in a week they say.
