I know this has nothing to do with fuel getting to the plugs, but I have fuel leaking all over my engine block! I traced it back to the gas tank just above the fuel bowl assembly. Leaking around the rivets which are on the tank.
I didn"t know how to start a topic, so please forgive me for jumping in on yours.
Do I have to buy a new tank... or is it possible to weld the rivets... or maybe solder around the rivets. Any advice would be appreciated.
So far I have drained the gas tank. Getting ready to pull it out and fill it with water to de-fume it in preparation for welding. But if anyone knows of an easier way....
