The price in Texas could be about 3 to $4000 depending on if anything comes with it, I don't know midwest price.
The rust on engine should'nt pose a problem and usually does'nt represent anything except a lack of paint, and no major oil leaks. If the freeze plugs are rust pitted I would change them.
The only way to really check the remotes would either be to hookup to an implement and try them or attach pressure gauges. If the lift works ok the remotes should too.
If the engine runs good the old an rusty spark plugs are good, that should mean they are'nt fouling, and the engine is probably in good shape.
As for expected leakage, there is no reason for leaks if you perform routine maintenance and keep hoses, covers, and lines tightened.
With 935 hours I think you have found a good tractor if you can live with the price.
