I don't know where you live, so I can't give you any good information on microwave internet. I have had it since February and am well pleased with it. I have the basic connection package and regularly connect at 640 KBS. My old landline was 40 KBS, so is a big difference. I also have TV bundled with it and the 2 together costs $73.99 per month. Installation and equipment were free and was a 5 hour job to install. You can Google "microwave internet" and it will list your state and then will show all providers in your state and a map of their coverage areas.... Gene
