: Maybe a chain and some lug tires, if you prefer to do it the West Virginian way.

Sounds like you have the same problem I had, how to clear small stands of trees using your tractor. I went so far as to buy a 1155 Massy (140 h.p.), it was not the smartest thing I ever did, as I am reminded often by "she who knows all". I have found that in southern red clay the conditions have to be perfect to pull trees, and I'm talking small trees (4" dia.). Don't even think about sweetgums, pecans or pines, the tap root is too strong. The point is, depending on soil conditions, sandy, clay or in between and type of tree, some folks can and some folks can't pull stumps. But as to your question about special equipment available I can't be of help. I am going to take the advise given to me, sell the 1155 and call in some IOU'S from my brother-in-laws 955CAT.
