I lease hunting here to the same 5 guys every year. Solved all my illegal hunting problems. They pay and they run illegal hunters off, like Spook everybody's experience here. The disreputable locals got the message after a couple of years, leave me alone now.
In Virginia, liability's no issue if the payment is less than the property tax. I keep my rates low enough to have extremely appreciative hunters.
Muzzleloaders in now. 5 deer, 1 coyote taken so far. Would be more deer but they're real picky about buck size.
Everybody, including me, thoroughly enjoys the season here. They tell me where to look for turkeys. I prefer a rifle to making funny noises.
