an 8N or a 9N are ford tractors, the 8N was built between 1948 and 1952 and the 9N was made between 1939 and 1941. Both are among the most common tractors ever made, with 500,000 8Ns built in those years. I have never heard of that conversion, but we would have to know more about the condition of the tractor to help you. How are the tires, sheet metal, and hows it run(i think you said some of those).
