Upgrading to a digital HD will help a bunch. However you will still have channels that are anolog that will not be real great. My Sony allows me to change the anolog wide screen to a slightly smaller Square that veiws M.A.S.H much clearer.
Our digital upgrade wasn't that much and it is worth it to view the HDTV Channels.
