I would guess that I have read/heard about about a half dozen studies in the last couple of years that suggest that coffee is actually good for you.
If I recall, I think a lot of them had to do with preventing various cancers due to high antioxidant content and organic chemicals that bind with toxins and make them less available to be taken up into your body.
Do an internet search, I'll bet you can find a web site easily that gives pro's and con's.
BTW I like my coffee black, strong and rich. Give me a large Starbucks and I am good for the day. (though I usually brew my own because I don'e want to spend $2 + a day on coffee).
