Thanks for all the replies. Yes the 5130 is natural - no turbo so that rules some things out. There is absolutely no smoke so it can't be burning the oil. It does have a breather and there is some pressure (air) that I can feel but there isn't any oil exiting the tube. The clutch is wet, so there is no weeping hole underneath. And believe me, I've been under that tractor so long examining every little nook and cranny I could draw it in my sleep. I was figuring the engine oil must be going out the rear seal and into the tranny fluid, but the oil there doesn't look contaminated at all. Up until now, the engine oil level wouldn't change a hair between change intervals. This is an "all of a sudden" major leak. Again, thanks for all the imput, Lar
