Only 20% of people own stocks. Its not a very good indicator because the market will go up at a time when it should drop.Fuel oil is 3.00 a gallon ,kerosene 3.50 here.Gas was 3.15 yesterday.Made a trip to get my wife some birthday presents. The big store parking lot was almost empty.I bought a few basic groceries, noticed women with grocery carts piled high.Looks like they are stocking up for a tough winter.5 years ago I could buy 100 gal of fuel oil for 100.00 now takes 300.00.Thats 200.00 stolen by the fat cat oil co.Two economists said this wouldnt affect peoples buying habits. They probably get 100 grand a year.I wonder why fuel oil is selling for the same price as gasoline.Should be 50 cents less minus taxes.
