IT works easiest if you have a small pump oil can -- the kind that gives you a squirt each time you press the lever.
Turn your fan until you see a screw-had about halfway back the fan assembly on the generator side (esie than working from the governor side). Put some rags right under it, remove the screw and pump oil into the hole until it just starts to run out. Pick up tour rags so they don't get caught in the belt (keep them under the screw hole, though) and turn the fan until that hole you just filled is on the bottom. When it's finished draining out the excess, turn the fan back so that the screw hole is on the side again, and replace the screw.
What's happening is that there is a short piece of pipe inside the hole that is the right length for the oil level when it is at the bottom, but you have to bring it up to the side some to get the oil in in the first place, then allow the excess to drain out.
