OK,I tried to find my bidders card with some results and I cant come up with it.Sorry.The sale was the middle of Sept at Kimball,NE.It was the Robert Kazcmerek estate sale held by Nixon Auction Company out of Wakefield,NE.You might give them a call.

There were about 30 old trucks there and I put pictures up of the best 4 that sold.

It seems like the old Ford brought $2,500 and I remember everyone saying the 46 Dodge was too cheap at around $700.I think the 59 IH brought around $1800.I think the Studebaker with 7000 miles brought over $2,000?

The top 5 truck pictures are from Kimball,NE.The 6th picture is what I went to Kimball,NE for and came 740 miles home with. Its a 1940's 21 Massey SP combine in near field ready condition.

The last picture is a 1942 Dodge truck that sold 12 miles from me a week ago.The original freshly rebuilt engine was sitting in the bed and the truck sold for $600.It was all there,in real decent shape, and the doors shut like new.It was used up until 1996.

Today's Featured Article - Show Coverage: Godfrey, Illinois Country Days - by Cindy Ladage. Except for last fourth of July's Old Gold show in Springfield, Illinois, I don't remember when it was so hot. Nevertheless, the heat didn't keep vendors and visitors alike from enjoying the third annual Country Day's Event. Jane Elliott said the event was originally a one man show. "Barry Seiler, owner of Country Town Farm Supply store used to invite people up to the Johne Deere store. He would give hats and a free meal for everyone that brings a tractor." Elliott said while this ... [Read Article]
