I read a magazine article (Country Folks-Palatine, New York) when unleaded first came out and the writer suggested to use a blend of low-lead avaition gas and regular pump gas. I had an 8N and recall mixing one qt of aviation to 5 gal or regular. I recall the lead % mixture of the blend to be the same as th old leaded regular. Got mine at the airport. Also worth note: the higher revving the engine, the worse the guide problem becomes. My Ford was high revving while a John Deere was slower. That's why I went with the fuel blend for mine. The lead additives they tested didn't seem to work all that well as I recall.
