I wouldn't spell anything out - the SMV sign is the deal that tells people you are slow. Don't make dumb drivers try to read - it distracts them! :)
A strip across the back on the wagon axle is a good idea, it tends to stay reflective a long time as the wagon shields it from the sun & weather some, & the low location seems to catch some people's attention better.
